So as most of you know, I went to that Coldplay concert yesterday. Possibly one of the greatest experiences I was so blessed to have. I couldn't get HQ pics/vids but I'll post a few things up later tonight or tomorrow anyways.

So I changed my mind about AOTW this week. Originally I didn't want to give an up-and-coming artist the disadvantage of a smaller week for a feature, but then I decided that I really don't need to make it an independent artist. I chose an artist that can spare the one-day loss. This band is Coldplay. But the main reason is because I'm going to their concert on Thursday (!!!) and it felt fitting.
Guilty Simpson & Madlib join forces to create the duo"OJ Simpson". This song sounds incredible, but I mean with two artists like these, what else can you expect? For real, this is going to be a classical album, I can smell it already. Anyways, down to business - here's the track.
D-Sisive is a hip-hop artist from Toronto, Canada. If you haven't noticed yet, he is currently WhatFeelingsSoundLike (WFSL-beatwizemusic.blogspot.com) Artist of the Week. To fit the week's theme, I got to ask him a couple questions. I already knew this was going to end up different than most interviews. Not only was I right, but I was glad to get something more than the usual, generic answers one would usually hear. This dude D is definitely something different, not only in his music, but also in his personality. He's the type of guy you'd chill with at a bar, have a beer or two and just have a good time talking. And to top it all off, he's a great artist with a very bright future. Here it is - Joker with a Mic: An Interview with D-Sisive..
D-Sisive: Muneshine and The Arkeologists. The Arkeologists are responsible for waking me out of my hibernation. If krates never leaked Kneecaps, none of this would have happened. Muneshine is an amazing Rapper-Producer. Our chemistry is insanity. We knock out songs like nothing. Written-Produced-Mixed-Mastered-Marketed-Released-Billboard top 100 all in one day. Last night Muneshine and I were eating macaroons and watching the Jack Nicholson film, Wolf. The macaroons looked like dog shit. When bitten, the coconut made them look like white dog shit. Mune said 'if dog shit tasted like this, I'd eat dog shit all day, son.' That was pretty amazing.

For anyone interested, the listening part is on August 5th at Sutra, NY. It will be hosted by Statik Selektah and Large Professor.

Damn yo. A. Roth a.k.a. "Never Take a Day Off" bringing that heat on an already hot beat. This dude never sleeps for real, he's the definition of workaholic. Keep up the great work! The much awaited for sequel to The Greenhouse Effect is coming very soon! Very excited for that. Anyways, here's something to keep you (me) busy while you (I) wait..

Are you a talented up-and-coming artist that wishes they had the time to promote their music through blogging? Don't have the time to do so? WFSL has the answer.
D-Sisive, a rapper from Toronto, has a very unique and interesting style. A type of character that will grab you from word-one, but will leave you baffled from that point on. A dark, yet humorous personality, all-the-while intelligent and thought-provoking. D is many things, and a great lyricist is one on that list. With collaborations with Classified, continuing work with Muneshine, and a Juno in hand, D-Sisive has set his mark in Canadian hip-hop.
Fly Union dropped this 4-track EP just now on Twitter. It includes "Poed Up" Feat. Big Sean, a track I dropped just 2 days back. Check it out, it's pretty dope.
