As I said before, 810 stays grinding. Yesterday (late pass by me!) he dropped the prelude to his upcoming mixtape "Glass Half Full" in a form of an EP. 810 has been steadily dropping tracks in my email since I disappeared. I would like to drop all them at once and overwhelm you all, but instead I'll just drop the newest track he sent up to me. This one is off yet ANOTHER mixtape he's working on called "I Hate OPB's (Other People's Beats)". This kid stays steady grinding and all of his tracks deliver fire. This mixtape drops Oct. 20th. Artist of the Week: 810

Meet 810, a 19-year-old, up-and-coming artist out of Baltimore. He describes himself as a "community college student who often neglects other things to do music". At first when I read this I had a bad feeling, but then I checked out his tracks. Song after song of his melodic flow, interesting delivery, and great beat choices - I knew he belonged in the feature. But then it struck me - I've heard this guy before!

A while back I was just checking on other blogs downloading anything that came out with a new name. I'd heard 810's "Supply & Demand" and had loved it. But unfortunately, in the wake of many new projects - all of which were great - I had forgotten about my dude 810. But now I listen to his tape very often, making sure not to miss a line. This kid is going to make himself something substantial in the industry very soon.

810 - "Supply & Demand" Mixtape

Allow me to introduce you to 810, a 19-year-old rapper from Baltimore. I received this tape a while back from the dude but I don't know what happened. Maybe I just forgot to drop it; regardless, I was listening to my iPhone last night and I randomly came across a track off his mixtape after a long time. Then I decided to listen to the rest of the tape. Dope, dope, dope. Did I mention dope? Realizing my stupidity, I woke up today morning and decided to drop it on the blog asap. 810 mixes lyrical goodness with intrumental heat, something that's very rare in today's hip-hop environment.
