It's that Canadian hip-hop. Really dope stuff right here. You guys really gotta check out more Tona, he's incredibly talented. Saukrates and T-R are pretty sick as well; this lineup is a Canadian bomb, no joke. This is off Tona (MC) & Lyfe's (producer) new album "Direct Deposit" which you can cop on iTunes right now. Here's a link to the DOWNLOAD of this track. And Tona as a website as well. Now, enough of that, let's get to the video..

Evidence Signs with Rhymesayers!
One of my favorite rappers signed with one of my favorite label collectives; this is too good! Imagine Ev & Slug over an Ant beat? Or even Ev & Murs? Say word! Here's Ev's reaction to the news..
No I.D. Interview with Decatur Dan
Words from Dan: "The other day I got a chance to cash in on a favor that I must say was well worth the wait. The back end story is way to long so I’ll save it for another day. You may or may not have heard of my friend No I.D., he recently produced Jay-Z’s latest single off of the soon to release Blueprint 3. It’s a track titled Death Of Autotune, which by the title alone you can see why it warrants much hype. I had the idea to get his thoughts about the song on camera, being that he made the song. So I ran the idea by my buddy Zach Wolfe and I knew with his years of expertise we had a mini documentary in the making. No I.D. has been in and out of the city lately so I caught up with him while he was in town for one day. The documentary takes place at the St. Regis hotel in Atlanta’s famous Buckhead region of the city. Enough talking, start watching, press play andlet the story begin."

CJ the Genesis - Yea, I'm A Nerd
So I copped this tape 2-3 days ago and checked it out. Right off the bat I was impressed by CJ. He creatively uses video game samples (I think they're all N64 songs) and raps over them with his own original style. Me being a huge fan of N64 since I don't even know when made this even more fun to listen to. I was catching all of these Mario Kart samples and I absolutely loved it. I'm sure you will too. Cop that quick!!

Pharrell - Dispicable Me
This is a drop from a movie that's coming out a year from now. Kinda weird for a leak to come out this early, but it's Skateboard P, so it's allll good. Dope track from the dude as usual. Check it out!

The iLLiad - Nostalgics
Me and iLLiad go way back; back when he was known as Fate L. We did a project together and worked on other collaborations. I used to think he was a good artist that still needed some growth. Last night I decided to check out his new project "Nostalgics", and honestly..he's grown. A lot. This tape (album?) really goes hard and I give this a "must-have" rating. Check it out.
